New regulatory amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) came into effect Sept. 26, 2022.

Since January 12, 2022, the minimum advertising requirements for employers applying for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to hire temporary foreign workers in primary agriculture were suspended.

Extension runs one full year, until June 30, 2023.
